Tim raised the question below and I would like to hear people chime in: when you are reading Philippians are you reading an actually book Bible, on your smart phone, tablet, e-Reader (Kindle/Kobo), papyrus scroll from the 3rd Century, from a website (like Bible Gateway) ... or as some have done - from MEMORY!!
Also, morning, afternoon, evening, late at night? When do you read?
There is no right or wrong answer with either of these questions, just curious to know...
Thanks,
Rob

So let me start - I use paper Bible, but did do a 1.5 month stint using my iPone and YouVersion, a tremendous Bible app. But, I returned to the good ole' book format. . .
Rob
Monday to Friday I read in the mornning. I do use the app Rob mentioned, YouVersion. I like that since this month we're looking at the same chapter each day for a week I can choose a different translation.
Mon - NIV
Tues - The Message
Wed - NLT
Thurs and Fri I make a ramdom selection.
The app still lets me highlight and make notes and I can share thoughts. I even have it set to send me a reminder so I don't let the business of my day separate me from my reading time...7am Mon-Fri I hear a cute little melody and I get to it!
Saturdays I'm not interested in a 7am wake up call! So - I'll wait 'till later in the day!
I still love me "real Bible", but I have appreciated looking at the same scriptures with different translations each day.
I have been reading Philippians in my actual book Bible each morning on my own and with the family after supper using NKJV or NIV.
Although I explained to Emma we would be repeating the Chapter each night during a week, she announced to me that I have been reading the same thing over and over.
I use the actual Bible as well. I have a Bible app on my phone that I use sometimes but mainly just for looking up specific verses... I prefer to read in the morning as it sets such a great tone for the day. There are many mornings, however, when I just can't seem to do it so I opt for the quiet time before bed.
Using the app on my phone makes it easier to just pick it up and read where ever but I agree using a traditional bible seems better. Establishing a definite quiet time scares me a bit I like flexibility but tend to leave everything till the last minute and does it get done ? And if it does is it well done?? Well, this blog is to help me do that so I will come up with a definite time each day!!
